ive been trying to find out about their system for quite some time this is the most detail i have found yet.... am beginning to think its top secret.... and they should sell all theiir mixed water to us instead of treating and dumping it :) win win i say cheap salt water for us less expense and a lil profit for them

great article ! thanks for sharing that with us, I enjoyed reading it. I wonder if we approached them about a back stage tour for a bunch of reefers if they would consider it at some time in the future? Any interest peeps? I'd certainly enjoy it. I haven't been to Ripleys yet, one of these days I'll get there. I've seen a lot of photos. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to ask about the water either, but for the aquarium it might be more trouble than it's worth to sell off extra water.

id be up for a backstage tour love the aquarium but very disappointed in their "reef" tank... the real coral tank was kinda lame... they could have put more effort into that display

apparently part of the tour shows the components and a mini display of their life support system but not sure how much detail they go into..... and i heard their coral wasnt even real from someone lol will be taking the boy and wife soon maybe i should send ripleys an e-mail and see if they could give tft members a special behind the scenes tour
