50 bristleworms 1 tank:
Was cleaning a tank with my girlfriend this weekend, and within seconds of turning the return pump back on and filling the display with new saltwater a massive bristleworm spawning session began. It was disgusting! One after another, all over the tank, they started popping their pink asses out of the rocks and spitting big loads into the freshly cleaned tank.
Once I saw what was happening I scrambled frantically to try and capture either a photo or video but I was too slow. Fortunately I found this little fella who had stage fright and needed some time to prep himself. I probably had the camera on him for 5 mins before he finally blew his wad. It was so gross but we just couldn't look away until it stopped!! The water looked like a thoroughly enjoyed public jacuzzi when they were all done.
