I'm looking to convert my 220g over to salt I currently have Aquaticlife 6 lamp T5H0 72" fixture with 12 34" bulbs running at 39 watts with a Aqeon proflex model 4 sump, and a aqua advantage 25w UV sterilizer. The Tank is a marineland 72x24x30 with built in corner overflows. I'm just looking for some input on what type of skimmer to run. Should I go with a sand bed or bare bottom. I would like to do it right the first time and not have to go back and make changes do to inexperience.

I would run a vertex 250 or 280 and place your rock on the bear bottom then add the sand in front

Samsung s3 this way u avoid a cavein with the rock O0
