Nice work on the lights, wanted the same, though could not justify the price fish only tank. Why such a low quality UV sterilizer on such a primo build?

THank you. as of UV I wasnt sure if I need it at all, there is a mixed thoughts if there are really benefit on those, so did not want to spent lots of money. The good one cost around 3 times more. So I decided to run this one for now, especially I used to have it 10 years ago on my 30 gal tank but 9w and it was pretty much algae saver. Right now I have almost no stock and no algae if u noticed Maybe later on will upgrate it.

I added it like 2 month later, but U can add it right after the cycle is complete to help your with algae boom

I have no filtration but skimmer and wanted to run UV to test, man just wow, its really cleared the water. My water was clear but a bit fozzy while looking along the tank from one side to another, the other side was not that clear. Now while UV running 3 days it is crystal clear

also just wanted to share with you this items guys. My tank in basement and I always had issues with internet there especially now when I have apex. I was using wifi extenders, but they were no good really. Decided to try wifi extender via powerline, This thing is a saver! So far love them, the way they look is very slick and the shimmer is amazing. They have full spectrum but honestly not sure who is going to run tank red, green or yellow colors. Cannot say anything about the coral grows as have none yet.

I have 3 kessil 160s tuna blue they are ok love the shimmer and growth but haven’t been happy with the life out of them , I hope these lights are better then mine and possibley fixable , my beat advice to you is don’t crank the blues , because the chip will burn faster , I don’t have mine past75% blue for like 2 hrs . Beautiful tank build !

Havnt posted in a while. Since my last post added more fish and corals. Dropped ap700 to 10in above the water. Added one sps to test. Setup media and in process calcium reactor.
