Filter Socks Game

I’m new to filter socks , and dumps for that matter , I have 2 spots for socks and own 4 10 “ socks it’s not near enough but I’m only 2+ weeks into my cycle ,

1. How many socks you guys have ?

2. how often you switch yours out ?

3. do you bleach yours in buckets or washer machine?

4. How long will the socks last before new ones need to be bought ?

thanks in advance , I know there’s no right or wrong way / number but what’s a good rule of thumb

I have about 50, 9 per tank in the cycle, I buy in qty, way cheaper, each tank has 3 socks
I wait till they are getting clogged, usually 5 to 7 days
I bleach (1/2 cup) in a bucket for a couple days then rinse and soak in water with a few drops of prime overnight
I use mine till they are showing signs of wear, prolly about 6 months
I use 100uM

I need to buy more. Ideally 30 ish. 4 per tank. I use washing machine with bleach, then second wash without anything. Then soak in bucket with prime. Air dry before use.

I change once a week and throw out, usually buy 16 at a time so I'm good for a couple months. That said, I should change them about 4 day mark. The plan is to switch over to filter roller.

just can’t be bothered to clean the socks ? Filter roll looks sweet , but I’d never really have the room for one / it’s gotta be more $ then the socks / reuse no ? ( again filter roll is bad ass )

No way would the gf let me wash them once she saw how they look. I typically buy packs off amazon, I believe $5 each it works out too, but still the roller would be better and less cost for me. I have plenty of room, but still trying to sort out how I really want my sump, I'm one of those do first think about options later.
