So everyday for 2 weeks I've tried a lot to get my clam to stay put ( I've wedged it with rocks around and it still moved )
This morning I took a look and he was gone ... Then I looked closer to the glass and he crawled over to the glass and up it .. Like seriously? Anyone else have this issue :/

I've never had such an issue with something (coral or rock) in my tank that falls or move around here I thought it was the snails moving it around, but now I know he's moving him self . Today a out a nice size flat rock in the sand and covered it over with live sand and put him in the sand and hope he will attach to the rock underneath .

My new clam moves a little bit but not much.... do you have anything in your tank that might be bothering it to make it react like that

I got it from @BIGSHOW they looked really healthy and I don't have an issue with its health , but I though a clam at 1" dosent need much light Till it's around 3-4" , please correct me if I'm wrong lol , I try to feed it twice a week little feedings but If I can't make it to where my tank is ( im not living in the same house as the tank) then it's once a week .

Could be possible but I look close everytime I see it and I can't see any new ones my wrasse is a saint and I thought maybe he see. A crawly and went for it and nicked the clam at the same time ,

Maybe it dose need more light of it climbs the glass again I'll move him up lol .

i also grabbed a clam from BIGSHOW, approx an inch across. i have him sitting about 1/3 the way up the tank under radions, and he hasn't moved since i put him there. Open everyday and seems to be happy.

Where it's true that they don't require as much light while they are juveniles, this is the stage when they are small and relatively mobile that they seek out the right conditions to settle into for long term living.
