IP 68 is seawater safe. It's the pressure that will break this rating . If you go to bottom of pool it may stop working, if you are holding it below water level you will be fine I'm assuming. The rating isn't meant to say you can take it in water or not, it's to say it is resistant to water, dust and things like this

But everything I've read about the Xperia Z3 is that you shouldn't use it in saltwater because there still is a port open on the device and saltwater won't be covered my Sony

Today I've heard from Sony center a long story about it should not be under the water longer then some special time, it should not be submersed dipper then 1 meter etc...

So I've decreased my water changes to roughly 7-8 gallons a week for the past couple of weeks in hopes to raise my no3 slightly. I'm currently feeding four times a day with dry foods and twice on frozen. And i still can't get my no3 above zero!

If this doesn't work. I may need to remove some mangroves from my sump or start dosing ammonia to help raise my no3.

My sps have suffered over the past month. Lost some colour on a few pieces due to the addition of more flow, more light and I'm thinking the lack of no3

Some of you may get upset because I'm having the opposite problem with no3 than most others.

Suggestions are welcome too on how to bump my no3 to the 2-4ppm range

What if you don't do any water change, look like you have a self maintain system with lack of maintenance. Just add ro water due to lost from evaporation. Never have to buy salt again, save save save

I can't do that. It would kill me not doing maintenance on my system. I do it for a living and would go nuts if i didn't do water changes.

Honestly though. If the drop in water changes and increase feeding don't work in the next month. I might have to switch to every two weeks instead.

I don't really want to add anything new over the summer. Its basically on cruise control until it gets cooler.

Honestly i would just stop doing the water changes.. i know you said youd hate doing that, but that may be the only option..it may not do anything tho. I havent done any water changes ina month and my n03 is .1 and p04 is currently 0.00(i think the battery may be low in the hanna, that or its about to spike again oce my gfo is exhausted), my p04 usually gets up to .14.

Haha their are guys that don't like to do water change and do it because they have to and guys that want to do water change, that you (not to many lol). As for me I only do it because I have too. WHO'S WITH ME on this one lol

I actually don't mind doing water changes. I do my major cleaning when I am doing mine and I love how clear the water is after and how everything pops for color. I love the look of the corals after it is done they just look so happy.

You could try running your skimmer dryer or every other day.
