I ordered a Wp from Reef supply Canada. It arrived yesterday and it came with this controller

Anybody else see something weird?
Look at the name.
Jecod? The pump head came in a small jabeo box (pump only) and everything else was in a separate brown box unmarked. My issue is that although it looks like the same driver it's got a different name. I put in the light sensor and it just falls out.
I plugged it all in and it is working and the controller functions.
I sent a message to the guy yesterday and he said it looks normal and he would check when he got home and get back to me. That was yesterday I sent him another email asking about my issue and where my back ordered led fixture is and still no reply. He is good at ignoring emails when you have valid questions.
Anyone else had dealings with this guy? Or a weird controller name?

That's what I was thinking. I especially like how he dosent reply to my emails. I have to send multiple to get a reply. I'll never buy from this company again.

Not the first time I've heard bad things about this company. Are his prices much cheaper then everywhere else?

How did you pay? You may have some backup from paypal, credit card company .

I'm still waiting on a light that was on backorder. So I'll wait till it arrives.
Also the prices were on par with eBay and shipping charges etc. So not a great deal but I figured I'd deal with a Canadian company. Little did I know this is probably a basement type business for this guy.

Damn basement operations. There are some good ones :) , and yes some not so good.

I'm assuming the light is an ever grow fixture? I have read good reviews about the light, and I think he is the only person in Canada retailing them.

If you are on canreef forum, maybe post your situation on that forum if he is ignoring you now. He is a sponsor there so he should act on it.

Mention and show the photos of your wp-25 controller and situation about the light sensor.

Hope things get worked out.

Got to love Google, they are the same pump. Not sure why some are marketed as Jecod, but they are still Jebao. Jecod has most of the FS series pumps. Even the fish-street site has Jecod as the name in the picture if you zoom in. :)

Thanks Torx.
I figured it was a subsidiary name of some sort. It's working perfectly in the tank. Just wish he could give some answers when I ask.
Yes it's a 2nd evergrow fixture. I have one already (eBay buy) and now need a 2nd for the new tank.
Hopefully this guy gets his shite together. My next email will be can you answer me or should I post all my comments and concerns on Canreef?
I don't mind delays in communication I just don't like being ignored.

I bought one from a very reputable store in Burlington, when I got home I noticed the light sensor wasn't in the box so I sent an e-mail only to be ignored, so I know the feeling.

I guess I'm not the only one.
Does anyones make a humming sound when on else mode? Mine does but maybe it's because I have an acrylic tank.

I used to hear it over 80% power. But I do not need to run it that high. My MP's were worse, wife complained about them, even unplugged them at night sometimes.
