Water Changes

I've been outside, and/or working so much lately I've been lax on the water changes and maintenance. So far nothing really bad except stn on one stag, but it's funny how seeing some white skeleton gives you a shock. Took about 2 weeks of feeding and water changes to get everything looking happy again. Just a warning to those who haven't been up on their maintenance (you know who you are) lol.

I can't say I'm looking forward to the cold weather chasing me back indoors however lol.

Yes but that only lasts for so long... then slowly the effects will start to appear...

You are not the first person to say this to me, but I must be told many times before I listen.

I like it when the stores go into lax mode, you go in pick up an acro you saw weeks before that had potential that is since turned brown..... bring it home and within 5-6 weeks turn it right around. pay a fraction of what they were asking originally I love that. thanks summer!

I find it odd when ever I miss a water change some of my coral go through a growth spurt, My Branching Hammer is like that! I skip 1 (or 2) scheduled water chages and my hammer seams to explode and looks like it's super extended. Thats when it's time to frag a couple of branch's and then I do a water change

LPS likes dirty water. My trumpet explodes when the water gets "dirty" as does this really small pack of xenia I've had for 5 years. If that starts to grow I know I've got issues. SPS doesn't like crud, scum or dirt.
