Skimmer Bubbles Too Much

hey I thought I would share my fix .My skimmer was putting bobbles into my tank and it drove me up the wall. I had a 14' piece of ABS that I had for a home made skimmer that I built . I stuck it to the wall over the out put of the skimmer . No more bubbles . My sump is only 10g so the skimmer is too tall for it

That will help out for sure. Micro bubble suck, but are a pretty popular issue with that HOB skimmer.

Nice fix. But that's a known problem for a seaclone skimmer.

yep the good ole seaclone is notoriouse for that.... lots of tips on the net to help them run better tho

Ya! Buy a different skimmer. lol

It actually does run ok after a few mods
