I thought after my last tank that I would no longer run filter socks, but of course I have been running them on the latest tank to the tune of 4 per week, I juggle between the typical filter sock and the Reef Diaper. I did plenty of reading as to what may work in the Bashsea sump and finally with my delays the Reefmat came along and it couldn’t be easier. The entire unit comes apart, I like that for cleaning, comes with the legs to free stand which I needed as the sump lip is too wide.
My drains are 1.5” and the inlet to the Reefmat 1”, I picked up a reducer and all was well and good in 30 minutes. I setup the app first before installing so it was ready to go, once in the sump it was a 10 minute process to get it rolling. I couldn’t be happier so far and a quick check of the app this morning shows it has been rolling.
I just want to point out my Neptune app works great, Kamoer app and now the ReefBeat, Mobius is still the worst app on the planet!
