Mixed pods and mixed phytoplankton. Each bottle of pods includes apex, tisbe, and tigger. All copepods are harvested, washed, and put into new sanitized bottles with new saltwater. Each bottle of mixed phyto includes Nannochloropsis, Dunaliella, Tetraselmis, and Porphyridium Cruentum. All phytoplankton is grown with a Guillard’s f/2 fertilizer formula and harvested and filtered every 8 days. These are just recommendations that we have taken from our readings of many sites and compiled research. You can always add more pods but like any additive please monitor tank parameters with the addition of phytoplankton.
