I Have No Clue

Hello Everyone,

Super weird thing going on right now in my filter, I have no idea what’s going on or what this is, so can someone tell me what’s in my filter? They’re like these little white things and it seems they have a tail but I have no idea.

do they swim?
could be sponges that are getting caught in there

It does not look like they swim, just stuck to the side, and there’s none inside the tank that I can see

Pineapple sponge. They are a good thing. They can be a pain if they get too over grown but they are great filter feeders.

What Torx said, pineapple sponges. I've got quite a few living in my in-tank skimmer. They don't seem to like light, which is probably why they're not in the display.
