Hi guys looking at getting a set of Twins but which ones. Tank is 60Wx18Dx24H. Looking at WP-10s or WO-25s.

Thanks

I bought the wp10 and was kinda disapointed with the flow rate from it..... I'd look at getting some wp40s even.....
For that size of tank I would say that the wp10s are definitely out and I don't even think the wp20s will cut it....

I have a 60" 120 and 2 WP-40's are too much flow, even when dialed down. Most my LPS and softies close up. I typically only run one WP40. I had 2 WP-25's in it before. I wish I would have kept the 2 25's, especially now that I control them with the Apex.

Same Size tank... I just got the Fs14000 Twin Pump and controller package from Fish Street.

Works perfectly in my tank.  I can run them a little slower to keep the noise down.  I wouldn't go smaller given the chance.

I am currently running them alternating though.  So I guess I am only runnign one at a time:)

One gets the water circulating one way then just as the current picks up i have the other one start the opposite way.  You can watch the random flow move across the tank before the pumps toggel again.

Scroll down for package details.  I picked the FS14000 Package for 150.

I woudl also suggest you get the pump extension cord for ten bucks.  depending on where you want to hang your controller.  I hung mine on the far side of the tank and the pump cord was barely enough to reach across to the other side.

Based on the amount of flow Im getting from my WP25 in my 34 Gallon Nano, Im going to stick two WP40s in my 220 Gallon when its up and running, great pumps.
