Just a question
Aren't toadstools toxic ? If they decide to die don't they take the whole tank down with them?
Yes they are.  But most times if the toadstool dies, it won't totally fall apart and infect the tank right away.  If it does die(which it sounds like it's doing better) Just use a hose to siphon out the remains.  Don't try and move it or it'll fall apart and pollute your tank.

Glad to hear it's doing much better.

I had a very nice 90 gl set-up until I purchased a Huge Toad stool, My system just couldn't handle the addition and it perished pretty much over night and that tank was doomed from then on. It finally crashed 3 weeks later. Live and Learn I said but I lost a lot of nice Corals.
