Too Blue

So I just recently changed out all of my t5ho bulbs from the stock aquatic life bulbs to ATI.

Stock setup was too white....so then when I made the switch I think I went too blue lol
72" fixture with 12 36" bulbs....so basically 6 × 2.... I went with 1 Coral Plus and 5 Blue Plus per side

Question is.... what should I replace one Blue Plus on each side with? A Purple Plus or another Coral Plus?

I also had the "too blue" problem. Try replacing the blue plus with aquablue specials. $10 each at mops.ca To me, they are the perfect balance.

I have 4x 36" Kz Fiji Purple that are brand new, you could take them for $20 if you wanted to try a purple bulb in your mixture. Have you thought about replacing your coral plus with an Aquablue Special instead as it's more white than the coral+

Thanks everyone...I think I'm going to try using a Purple Plus and if still too blue, try changing out another Blue Plus for an Aquablue Special.

Try 2 blue plus out front then the coral plus as its a stand alone bulb then blue plus then a purple plus at the back the Auqua blue special is not there greatest choice but you can also look up combos on ati web site you also can move your bulbs around if it's to blue move the coral or purple plus up towards the front more hope this helps

Curious why you say the Aquablue Special isn't a very good bulb, what's your experience with it?

Well first off ati recommendation for a 6 bulb combo is as I listed but I'm not just going of that I ran a 6 bulb t5 for years and had no problems ever the tank always looked amazing and everything grew sps lps Zoas never any algae issues but second the only two stand alone bulbs are the coral plus and Auqua blue special the Auqua blue is a much whiter light than the coral plus and tends to turn the tank very white and is hard to cover with the blue plus to get a decent look also tend to get less algae growth with the coral plus than the Auqua blue mind you its all in personal preference if you like a white looking tank that is the way to go but usually not great in a reef the coral plus also will bring out more of the Red and purples
