hey everyone, im looking for a timer for my 29g bio cube lighting, it has the moon lights,actinic and daylights and I would like to have them all come on and turn on at separate times. where can I can what im looking for? what does everyone else use? im also curious what your lighting schedules are. thanks in advance.

I just use $5 ones from canadian tire. One for my main lights and one for moonlights. Moonlights come on 25 minutes before main and off a little after lights out and they are on a switch too so I can turn them on if I want to view after lights go out. Main lights are on for 10 hours and also have a controler for slow ramp up or down...

If you go with basic timer try to get one with a battery backup so it'll keep a memory of your settings when the power goes out. Mine resets every time the power flickers and its a pain in the arse.

Do the ones where you depress the little buttons reset? I havnt had a problem yet and had quite a few power problems during the bad weather last week... Maybe I just havnt notice as I am not around when the moonlights go on lol. My turtle tank has battery backup ones and I havnt touched them for years so that is a great suggestion!!!
