This is how i'm thinking on setting up my sump. looking for thoughts, ideas and opinions on what i am thinking of doing

I have a 3 chamber acrylic sump

In chamber on i have my tank overflow draining into. i will be installing a filter sock for my drain. in this chamber i also have my skimmer.
I am thinking of moving my chaeto to this chamber. figuring this may catch any crap that gets through the mesh sock.

In my second chamber i have my 2 heaters, MJ1200 pump for brs dual reactor, some live rock and my chaeto(to be moved to chamber 1). I want to remove some rock from my dt and place it in this chamber.

In my third chamber i have my return pump, ato float, powerhead for water circulation for my doser lines and output line from reactor.

Is there anything that i could do to set my sump up better or any ideas on what else i could do different. My main goal for the changes is to make room for more rock in the second chamber

If it were me I wouldn't want to put anything but maybe the rock in the first chamber cause ya really don't want to get the chaeto in yur skimmer and the skimmer pump

Why the changes? Do you just want to move the rock out of the DT for more room?

yeah, looking to get more room. time to change things up a bit. good point on the chaeto. maybe i will put rock in skimmer chamber as suggested. plus, i have some breathing xenia and a few palys that got on some rock that i didn't want to, hoping to starve them of light by scraping/cutting them off and starving them of light.

If you could spare the rock fir a couple of days take it out and let it dry! That would kill it off! Or cut it up into pieces and sell it as frags!
