Tank Drains To Loud Into Sump

My tank drains to loud to my sump pipe sits about 1” above water and it’s just really loud if I run a pipe that’s sits below water level then it just makes the pipe gurgle ect

You could try running a sock, it should isolate the return noise and splash to within the sock.

Run it down to the water line and put a sock will help a lot.

Can I assume you got the drain flow fixed?

I put my drain pipe below the water line but I put three 1/8 holes in the pipe about an inch above the water line to let the air out so I don't get the gurgling sound and my drain drops about 6'

Thx all I got it I turn my flow down on the return pump little tuning now time to find rock and add salt and sand and let it cycle till end of summer
