Tank deep cleaning?

I was wondering how many of you guys (If ever) do a major tank overhaul?

I mean like rip out all the rock, and give the entire thing a solid cleaning. I can only imagine that back in the deep crevices and under the rocks that we can never reach must be a nasty mess.

Is this sorta maintenance ever necessary?

I haven't in 3 years.  That's what all the tiny critters are for

Good lord no.  Like, nothing ever.    Maybe a vacuum of the substrate once a year or something, but only the part in the front. 

Again, stability.

Never ever ever.

My thoughts too. Big no no.. If junks collecting anywhere u need more flow or a different layout of rock do it doesn't collect anywhere

Ok, was just askin because I am coming up to a year with this tank, and wanted to make sure there wasn't anything like this required.

just turn the pumps off for 3 or 4 days and you will b fine..
