Sw stores in windsor

Well after much disappointment in my last visit to superior sea I think it's time to give them the bad review. If anyone has prior experience with them the original owner was Jose. He was a pretty good guy as he was always willing to barter his prices. However Jose has moved onto a diff career I guess as his mother ( who barely speaks English) is the only one ever There. In my opinion the business has taken a swan dive in the toilet. Corals are insanely over priced. There are no fish. All his shelf products are years and years old. So I think it's time to say bye bye to superior. 70 bucks for a small elegance coral seems a little far fetched. Why can't there be a store in Windsor that doesn't try to rob the average hobbyist of his money and instead just enjoy the hobby for what it is and be known as a superior saltwater supplier!? It's really bothering me lately that in order for me to get anything worth while for my tank I have to resort to online ordering or traveling to London at the closest. So in short if anyone knows of a shop in Windsor that deals with sw that doesn't try to rip off their customers please chime in. So unfortunately I put superior sea in the same category as corbrets now. Really unfortunate.

I went to superior once, when the guy started listing off 1000's of $ worth of equipment I would "NEED" for a nano tank I turned around and left.  After research and purchasing elsewhere I spent around $200 for the stuff I "NEEDED".

As far as good SW stores; It's not in Windsor but close.. only place I'll deal with locally anymore.  Prices are average though you probably wont get a steal of a deal but the livestock is probably 100 x healthier than other LFS's

ya sam is my buddies brother. i work with his bro at chrysler. sams a good guy, very knowledgeable in sw. has good product and clean tanks. just a bit of a trip for me. Im going to give a shout out to coral crazy. they are located in harrow. im going there today around 3 to pick up some coral. Great prices, friendly people and they know their stuff. Picked up an elegance coral Kenya tree star polyps from them and great prices. Def gonna give props and keep doing business!

I like sam's store too especially for buying fish.

dave at marine fish is good little pricey on fish sometimes, some days a tang goes for 45, days later same exact tang is 60 lol prices never stay the same and 45  tang wasnt a sale price at the time either, only prob to is he never has corals and if he does they either sell right away or if their in his tank for a bit they turn out shit..overall decent

im really liking sams pampered pets it was great when i went there but havnt been in bout 2 months thou.

I used Marine Fish a lot when getting my fish - you can time some good prices, and if you buy a lot he may work with you on a package price too.

He's been threatening to open a bigger coral section for awhile.  Hopefully he pulls it off.

BTW - the Coralcrazy owners seemed really nice when I met them, but haven't been out there.
