I picked up a zoa rock to blow some sand off (with a power head) I had just stirred up and and a massive bristle worm was attached to the bottom...I have lots of them a few inches long but this guy was a easy 7-8 inches... well I drooped that rock and jumped back pretty fast haha

These types of posts need to be banned!!!! Where's a mod when you need 'em!?!?

If that happened to me, fish would be caught and removed, corals be damned, and I would see how well one of those suckers would survive the winter. Someone better get me a bucket.

I didn't have any in my big tank thanks to my greenbird wrasse, but my 30 gallon had some. If I saw a big one I would put a piece of shrimp out far enough that it would have to leave the safety of the rock and come for the shrimp. A long pair of salad tongs and I'd usually be able to grab:eek: that sucker and flush it

I might be stating the obvious lol but there is a big difference between a euncid worm and a Bristle worm :)
Imo bristle worms get a bad rap they are great part of a clean up crew and free ;)
