Supplement with Iodine

Any body using Iodine to Supplement the reds in your Corals, I used to put a cap in every month when I had Shrimp, To allow them to molt easier, but I'm not using it now and notice my Red?GRN Open brain losing it's red colouring, It's very pale, Any ideas? Thanks Gang

I did also back in the day, more I read the the more I understand when we do water changes that will replenish lost elements.

I put a drop in every night and test periodically to make sure it's not high.

I used to dose Lugol's as per directions (I think one drop per 25 gallons of system water), once per week.  I've stopped doing that and have noticed no change.  I've heard it is easy to overdo it.  I always thought that iodine/iodide was for purples and blues as opposed to reds, but those colours aren't that far off from each other?

Is any one aware of a Supplement that will enhance the Reds in LPS?
