Working 12 hour nights plus 2-1/2 round trip commute. Bring my air drill home make speed 800 rpm. Pull up to house into long driveway and somebody stole it. So know have to find and spend money i wasn't planning for a new tank! Sorry for the rant.

you have to be crapping me!!!

I would be heading over to the address as the ad says and pay a visit. Better yet, pretend that you are just interested in buying it. When you get there mention that you are interested because someone stole it right out of your drive way shortly before this ad was posted. Hell, bring the cops. If it is your tank ... can not believe someone could be so bold as to advertise on kijiji right after.

Dude, you left it outside. Not gonna lie, stealing is wrong and such, but you can't say you weren't asking for it by leaving things lying around.

Live and learn I guess. Plus calling the cops ain't gonna do diddly. His work against theirs. Unless they admit to stealing it in front of the cop. How can he prove it was his?

If you have photos of it and it had a distinct marking or something, you might get it back. But other then that, diddly will be done lol. Now as far as your fault for leaving out, that's not right. You should be able to leave whatever you want outside your house without having to worry about a scavenger stealing it.

Seriously I can't leave a tank I just cleaned outside my house beside my carport 60 feet from the road on a steep incline. By your theory I cant leave my car there or chairs or anything else. Please tell me how I asked for this. If you can't be constructive get the **** out.

Exactly...if it was on the street, that is a different story. Apparently as society, we have to lock everything in a metal storage shed guarded with dogs and guns, although it would have to be a poodle not a pitbull and waterguns not a shot gun.

Sidewaze, you definitely did not ask for any of this. I wish you only the best in hopefully locating it. It is unimaginable that someone would go that far out of their way to take something from your property. As bad as someone walking into your house.

the police wouldnt be able to do anything, so its best to just not involve them.. just go with a buddy if you find it on kijiji. if its yours just load it up..and tell the "seller" they can just be happy you arent a thug who broke both his knee caps for stealing in the first place.

Not gonna lie I would go there and make sure it's mine with a couple buddies and if it was mine beat the shit out of him ( by myself, buddies are just there in case he has buddies)
And then take the tank.... It's a shitty world yes, but I strongly believe if your an asshole enough to steal someone's stuff then have you it coming

This is unreasonable, as property owners we should be able to leave our property and expect all to be the same when we return as when we left. Unfortunately there are slime out there who will stoop that low to steal an aquarium from the driveway next to the house. It's a sign of the times, but in reality, I would never think that someone would have the balls to drive up and take a tank that large. By no means is this his fault for leaving it outside. I'd go with the take the biggest guys you can round up with you if you do find the tank advertised somewhere
and take it back with whatever force necessary.
good luck I hope you find it
