I was in at Sealife Central on the weekend and someone did a real number on the glass on the display tank, Gary has managed to buff some of the scratches out but some are real deep, looks like someone went across the tank and scribbled with a diamond ring.
I suppose in this day and age you should expect this kind of vandalism, but really, people work hard to get where they are and it's very disappointing to see how little some people value anyone else's property. A sign of the times?
Sad I say

Wow that really sucks.  Hopefully Gary can get them out. I know things like this has happened in the Toronto area before but not in London.

They had a glass guy in to assess the situation, some of the scratches are so deep they won't be able to get them out.

Is that the monster big tank?

Who does things like that?  Hopefully they do have a camera onsite.  Maybe they can post photos here and on the toronto boards, someone might recognize the person.  Wouldn't that make a ton of noise???

No, there was no camera on the tank, and yes it's the big beauty in the front of the store, thank god the damage is toward the end closer to the cash register and they didn't score the whole front of that tank.  Linda was alone in the store when the damage happened. They are having a camera installed. As for who would do that kind of thing? I would say a very small minded, mean spirited individual, karma, let's hope the responsible individual gets paid back in spades.
I guess there needs to be a barrier to prevent people from touching the tank. Sad !

I remember the vids online of guys stealing bags full of $$$ coral from a fish store, figured they would have cameras considering where the store is located (low traffic in the off hours).  That's still shitty, that was/is a killer tank.  I think it was from big als originally?

I was in there on Sunday, first time and never noticed it to be honest, really nice store though and some very nice clowns in stock.  Hope they catch the weasel who did that...
