i havmt touched the float valves on either tank since they were installed. works perfectly.. same system fills my 75g water change tank as well. and keeps a 5g fresh only bucket full and a drinking water tap at my kitchen counter with no di and minerals added... all included in my ato system.

Mine has to sit in my living room and contend with dog and cats. Can’t fit under stand. I have no idea how I would hook it directly up to ro system. It is in the basement and not directly under tank. Other side of house and up 10-12 feet probably

I have a rimless 7 gallon cube behind my tank. I need a cover the tanks water gets slimy and any pet would certainly get into it. Thankfully I only have fishes.

I have a 2 gallon jug with a float in it that stops filling automatically. The ATO is gravity fed througha float in the sump.

Everyday for 90 minutes I have a solenoid valve control by the apex that opens and starts the RODI system. when the ATO is full the float closes and then after the 90 minutes is up the solenoid turns off till the next day.

I havent manually added water or actually even thought about it in 4 years

mine is a 55g drum in the basement 60 feet away. using the avast pump, my reefkeeper and a pair of float valves. i just have to remember to turn the rodi on the night before i need to make a water change. it would run about 2 months without top up.lol
