Serpent Star Loosing Legs To Something ?

I have a purple firefish, yellow purple wrasse, bangai cardinal, scarlet hermits and trochus snails. I dont think any of these would try to eat it not sure though. Any idea whats happening to it. First was the tip on one leg now almost half another.

Looks ok and takes food no problem.

Those legs fall off all the time and I heard they can regrow. There is a chance the legs got caught under a rock that shifted as the star fish moved through the substrate. If that rock pinched a leg then the star would drop that piece and move on.

Thanks guys. For a couple days there i was worried. 1 day it lost the tip of one leg then half the other i was wondering wats going on. But its been doing good and eating. I also read changes or stress might make them drop legs and i just got it that week
