rust looking algae

I got  home from work and noticed since this morning there is brow rust looking stuff on my sand and a little on a rock or two help will it go away if I do more water changes first though what is it and what's it from

if its small rectangular bits then its probably red planaria or flatworms, see if you can blow them around with a turkey baster.

try posting a pic so we can be for certain.

pretty normal, how long has the tank been setup ? looks like diatom algae.

Diatom algae that's what I thought the tank has been going for two months

I think diatoms would be the answer.  My guess

It is for sure thanks guys I am currently going to do another water change and filter change and a water test appreciate the help

yep, diatoms 100%, should go away, normal with a new system setup

Depending on what you have in the tank if you do a total blackout for 1-2 days, youll turn your lights on and you'll see where diatoms used to be but it should be pretty well gone. Just had a battle with this myself (sometimes caused by inferior water quality, and out of spectrum lights in my case)
