Figured it's time for me to start my thread
I've been I. The hobby on and off for the last 5 or so years and this is the biggest setup I've done so by all means if I'm missing something please fill me In
So I bought a new house and been buying equipment slowly
So far I purchased a 100 gallonish starphire used tank. It came with a very basic home made stand. So I beefed it up and plan on putting tile and a granite ledge.
So far its almost plumbed in.
1 1/2 drain with a pan world return pump 1" and then will tee it off to two 3/4 returns
I also wanna run all my reactors with this pump.

Looks good, what type of drain system do you have? Is it a single durso? If you want to make it fail safe, maybe consider a bean animal design, that way your safe in case something gets into your drain. Lots of info out there to read if your not familiar with it.

I would also consider eliminating the horizontal run in your drain line if possible, but it might just take some trial in error to see how quiet it gets once things are running.

Sounds good
There is only a single drain and it an 1 1/2" pipe I'm gonna start doing some reading now on those options thanks
I figured with the sump being In Another room that I would be able to avoid the noise
How loud do these really get
I figured the skimmer and return pump would be louder

We'll I've got the tank full and all plumbed in pick up a 48" ati 8 bulb fixture...fits perfect I've got 3/8 on each side of the tank that this light doesn't cover should have no problem about lighting
I decided to go barebottom
Also got 2 jabao r15 for circulation
And the tank is all plumbed in
Went with a vertex 150 omega
A vertex bio pellet reactor and two tlf 150 reactors all that are going to be powered by the return pump
