Recommended Ato?

Which ato's does everyone recommend. Looking to put one in a 5g pail next to my sump in the 125 build. Good experiences? Bad experiences? Any tricks around them? I'm open to ideas here.

I have been using a JBJ ato on my system for almost three years now with no issues. The only thing is it uses a magnetic float sensor. Which I clean every month or so to ensure proper operation

I have a Tunze osmolator NANO 3152 - auto top off. Known issues with the Pumps on these units. if the sump glass/Acrylic not thick enough then wont work correctly, need to put something between the magnets.

But thinking about a GHL Doser 2.1 - Stand-alone (Master). I heard you can set it up to do continuous water changes to your system also use it as a doser and its totally wifi all that and under $500

Don't get Tunze 3152....it kept malfunctioning on me. Many bad reviews as well.

Smart auto top off here had no prob in two years or so

Get the smart ato I've had mine for three years never cleaned it once and works like a champ. My sump level only changes 1/32 of an inch which is not noticeable at all until the bucket of fresh gets empty lol but then it beeps and I can even hear it all the way upstairs with the door closed. Definitely one of the best investments I have ever made.

I agree on a great investment. I also have my kalk in mine which makes dosing easy

I have a smart ATO on my sump in the basement, it works well, and if it is having issues I can here it on the main floor over the kids, it can be a bit temperamental if I stop and start the pump too often but it's easy to reset.
