Re Creating The 80 Gallon Bowfront

I moved houses at the beginning of September and took the 80 gallon bowfront up to my Sudbury apartment. This move demolished the tank. I lost close to $2000 in frogspawn coral during that move. Upwards of 200 heads gone. This thread will highlight re-creating this aquarium. Before, after, and current pictures below. Still adding more corals to the system. Torch, elegance, and more acans will be added shortly. I’m still looking for a Red Sea reefer 350, 450, 425, or 525 to replace this tank.

Leather is pissed today. Likely because the tank peaked at 86F

Fish ok with that high temp? Mine stays consistently at 80* and I can’t get it to drop lower, even with being in he basement with central air keeping the house at 21*
Yes, fish and all corals appear to be fine. Only the one leather is pissed. This tank normally sits around 79/80, the apartment is just so hot right now

Update on the tank. Still adding corals. The long tentacle purple plate is amazing.

Couple updated pics on the tank. All corals are filling in well. Couple more added. Almost complete. Still looking to replace the tank with a nice rimless.

Bump. Most up to date pics on the tank. Can’t imagine I’ll have it with me for much longer. 4 months since the original wipe out of most of my stock. Has come a long way. I did no maintenance on this tank from December 15th to January 6th as I was down south with family for the holidays. Cleaned it up over the past two weeks. Some corals lost a bit of color while I was gone. I imagine it will be back to normal by mid February.
