One Of Our Own Petercar ( Larry)

Its with a heavy heart to announce the passing of one of our own... petercar ( larry) . He was killed in a truck accident last week. His wife was in to see me today to tell me. Even though larry got out of the hobby just less then a year ago he still enjoyed contributing and checking in here with tft. Larry graciously donated some of his equipment to the store... infact i saw him the day before his accident dropping off his protien skimmer . Larry was a great guy .... rest in peace buddy... i hope you find your reef in the sky.

It is always hard losing someone unexpectedly like this but especially hard when it is so close to the holidays. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Its always tragic to hear of this type of news at this time of year. I was familiar with Petercar back in the day and my heartfelt sympathy goes to his family. God bless.

His Celebration of Life was held today at the Crediton Community Centre. I will start up a donation selection for him specifically outside the sites donations so that we are able to track. I will keep it up for the weekend for interested people. Once a total is closed off, we can decide where/how it is spent. Flowers can be sent as well the family requested memorial donations to Easter Seals or a charity of choice would be appreciated as well. The dollar amount on the donation page is superficial as I needed to select something.
