Well, I had assumed they just went into the tank and died...but evidently they did not. Thanks to thevacman I plunked about 12 of em in there, one got pulverized by a tang but the rest seemed to scuttle off, never to be seen again, but wow, a week or so later and I do notice that almost every aiptasia is gone. I had stopped manually attacking them and was sort of keeping an eye on them. Man I wish I had got these years ago when I got my first "bonus anemone!!" from my favourite lfs.

Big thumbs up, incredible little buggers.

Thevacman also hooked me up. My aiptasia problem has exploded from targeting individuals with kalk paste, Joe's Juice, vinegar and every other concoction out there. After dropping half in my sump and the other half in my display, all aiptasia in the sump have completely vanished. The last few days I have been transferring adults to my display tank that soon disappear into the rockwork. Here's hoping that they reproduce and crush the enemy.

Glad to hear that you are see results so fast! Probably has a lot to do with the fact that you have no wrasse in your tank. My progress has been much slower, having 3 large wrasses in my display. I'm contemplating pulling the wrasses out, but they are so skittish and quick to hide. I've just really gained their confidence so they don't hide immediately when I walk up on the tank. If I catch them I won't see them again for a year! The aptasia is still disappearing just slowly. Just the other night I found 5 quarter inch juveniles on 1 rock, so they are reproducing in the display! :)
