This is my second attempt at salt water. Had it running for about a month and a half - 2 months before i added corals, started with a pink tip anenome which was way to big and had to be removed. Haven't had any problems keeping Frags or LPS Corals alive.
Equipment.
20G tank width - 24", depth - 14"
1x 24" Single bright LED
1x 18" Single bright LED
1x T8 Coralife Actinic
Fluval 206 Canister (Cleaned once a week)
Aqueon Power head 700gph
Fluval 300w Heater
16lbs or so of live rock.
Live stock
3 Damsels that i used to cycle the tank
1 Clown
1 Peppermint shrimp
2 Snails
1 Emerald crab
I bought a rock that was filled with Zoos and have had it in my tank for almost a week, only seems to have a few heads open up and now none open up. i did a fresh water dip but still won't open, any ideas on this?
I had a red alge problem but seems to be getting better now I'm doing water changes with distilled ozonated water and installed a power head to ad more flow to the side of the tank that seemed to have the most red alge
