My Biocube 29

Here is a journal of my Coralife 29 gallon. I removed all the bioballs and replaced them with a couple racks from InTank. The first being a media rack to hold floss, and other media and the second is a refugium rack. They are made for the tank so they fit perfectly in chamber 2. I'm also using a tiny Coralife skimmer which...well....sucks...It's in Chamber 1 as well as a small 50watt heater. The lights do a good enough job of keeping the tank warm. Chamber 3 houses the stock return pump. An RW-4 provides water movement in the tank

Future plans? A better skimmer, an LED retrofit and I might replace the return pump with a MJ 1200 but the flow seems fine to me for now.

Very nice, I am planning to order the in tank media rack and in tank skimmer once I get a little more money. How do you find using the media rack, you use floss on top. What did you put in the other two chamber?

Ive got filter floss on top then Chemipure elite and then a bag of carbon on the bottom. Its very easy to change out

Nice set up. I am not sure if you have seen StevesLEDS led retrofit for the biocubes but nice clean led retrofit. Looking good.
