Anyone got a good picture of how they mounted their D120 LEDS in their canopy??
I am looking for the best option that is tidy..

My canopy is the style where the top lifts on a hinge (Aqueon)

Thanks in advance.

It's not a good picture, but pipe strapping works well.  Mine is just "good enough for now" til i get around to building my canopy.  Real easy to form to shape of lights.  Which i obviously haven't bothered to do!

Thanks.. I'm looking for a more permanent solution.
I'm thinking aluminum extrusion  and or  bolting through the top of the canopy with stand offs..  Hoping for a good picture from someone...

I just have 2 holes drilled right into the top of my canopy, then I thread the 2 left hanger wires through one hole and the 2 right hanger wires through the other hole and have them all connected together with one of those climber latches from the dollar store.

I have a square piece of aluminum extrusion that I got from Home Depot for about 15 bucks I think.  Mounted it in the top of my canopy down the center and hung my LEDs from it using aircraft cable.

The only issue i see with that for me anyway....Is sometimes i flip up my whole canopy (90 deg) so i have complete access to my tank.
My t5's are mounted and don't move, so this works easy...

I guess i'd have to lift the lights out if i'm doing this...

The extra 6-8" of the canopy makes working in the tank a bear!!  I wish i had the canopy style where the front hinges...
