Was this a question? or a rant?

Where are the bubbles from? a sump? the main tank?

Answer to the problem, is an ATO system.

If you need a custom bracket to hold the switches, let me know, I have done a few in the past.

Ya the post is very vague.  They could be coming from many places.  Skimmer Outlet, Falling Water, Plumbing sucking air.

Hi iv had a problem with micro bubbles and and I know I have to keep my water up but sometimes I'm not around as I work 12 hour shifts

Still need a lot of information. Where are the micro bubbles coming from? I have not seen any of your tank information posted on the site. But you mentioned that the water level has to be up, leading me to wondering if you are using a HOB skimmer and no sump? Or a HOB filter? Post the info about your tank, what equipment and some pics always helps. If that is the case, you may have other issues with the hard corals you posted that you want to start keeping.

But keep it simple for now, post your tank, equipment and where the bubbles are coming from.

any chance you can post some pics of your sump and tank setup?
sometimes if you have a pin hole leak in the return, (like you said) that can cause it...
would be easier if we could see it though :)

Just a thought, I also had an issue with bubbles from return. I knew my plumbing was solid and looked to replace the 5+ year old loc line.  Fixed the problem.  From my experience was that if alot of salt creep was on top of the connections.... it is time to change them.

hope this helps
