Can anyone give me a comparison between t5 and metal halide as far as cost per month on electricity bill. Contemplating an HQI system. 250 watt with t5. Love the shimmer, brightness, and variety of coral it can sustain. I will be running 8 t5 bulbs on my 125 when it's finally setup. For space and plug saving lol I want halide. Willing to trade t5 fixtures for HQI wit t5 if interested

I really dont know the difference but i am sure you will see an increase in hydro I my self have an HQI system and i love the look of the lights
