Hi
Looking to upgrade my lights on a budget . Now i have 2 of these on my 36Gal bow front : https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B071LJC8HL/ref=twister_B071GRHS24?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 , but i want something more controllable .
I put together a few options and looking for some advice
1 - https://www.amazon.ca/VIPARSPECTRA-...&qid=1514212556&sr=8-12&keywords=aquarium+led
2 - AI Prime HD . Buy one now and another one later
3 - https://www.ebay.ca/itm/165W-WIFI-D...867768?hash=item41d0421c38:g:i1kAAOSwGwlZ8qpb

You will only need 1 AI on that tank. But that is the option I suggest. Black boxes do work and are budget friendly. You could even look at Radion right now as a lot of people are selling their G3's to get G4's.

Black box isn't a bad option. You can get them for 110 not 160 if you don't care about the remote.

Obviously AI and Radion are the better options

Are the ai or radion actually fixable when they fail ? Not like some lights that are 300$ and tossed when they brake ?

I am not versed at AI hardly at all, but I know Radions are fairly modular and repairable. Keep in mind that AI and Radion are the same company as of a few years ago.
