What's the name of the green algae that looks almost fluffy and will it grow on my rock if I put a few clumps in my tank and anyone got a bit I can get from ya in sarnia area.

lol  do no maintenance,it will come on its own,it will only grow and spread in a dirty tank  ie:high nitrates and phosphates,actually when these nutrients are plentiful the algae will consume them and i would think once its well established the numbers would fall,kinda like a display tank  algae scrubber

i have it in my fowler.. it looks great in there .. some wavy shit and some colour,  , instead of just bare rocks with some fish hiding in them... i also have red macro algae and gsp,, all look great!
i also control my nutrients so it doesnt get too crazy

thanks brandon.. it does look neat,, everyone that sees it loves it.... it used to be just coraline covered but it was just too boring, , so i started dosing phosphates and when the algae started i stopped.. now i use bio pellets and it keeps everything just right,,,
and ya,, just for a fish only,, i wouldnt want that shit in my reef,, id loose my mind,, lol...
