I'm going back to T5. The age old question what lights are best for our tanks?
Although I must admit I really don't know much about the quality LED lights that we will sell our first born for such as Hydras or Radions, the lights I have are Dsunys, they are bright boy are the bright, I don't know what spectrum they are but they're bright and the controller is easy to navigate.

Every Coral in my tank LPS look good except the Frogspawn.
It may be a flow problem, I have a Gyre and a Mp10wqd on the tank, lots of flow.
I had a T5, a Guiesmann, but it's only 4 bulbs, I bought a ATI six bulb fixture and I'm going back to T5, I'll shelve the LED and we will c

I’m going to be doing the led t5 combo can’t wait you get the best of both worlds and a little bit of both t5 n led would give the corals the best chance for growth and colour !

Yes I think you guys are dead on, I suppose I could do both, the T5 4 bulb unit sits low and the pentants set fairly high. The best of both worlds,
Don't you agree that their are definitely a difference in spectrum, the Radions and the Hydras and I suppose you could put Kessils in there as well. Than the cheap
Knock off LEDs,
I'm not paying a grand for a light then upgrading the following year.

I do think that T5 is proven as a Light source that not only supports Corals but supports very good Coral growth.

The old dilemma, T5, LEd, MH, a combination or maybe there's something new on the market.

Thank you guys for your opinions, no flow for Frogs, thanks

Let the LED's do the majority of the work and run your t5 blues for 6-8h and your t5 whites for 4-6h. Should get a full year out of bulbs on that sched

I am getting absolutely amazing growth out of my black box LED's, far better growth than i got from my stevesled (biocube) and my aquaticlife t5 fixture. I think where most people go wrong with blackbox is not setting them up right. Luckily for me i have a seneye with a par meter and was able to dial them in pretty well.
