So I'm slowly getting back into the hobby after my last tank crash just over a year ago. Going a little smaller this time, don't want to have to move a 6' tank when I move again lol.
With this build I'd like to try something different and go Led instead of T5s. I want to have a mixed reef, but mainly sps. So I'm wondering what kind of LEDs should I get? How many will I need? I really don't want to spend an extreme amount of money, but I know quality/led= expensive. Id like to find some lightly used ones to get me started, if possible.

What are you growing under them? I like that they're controllable, rather than having a dial.
Here's the par readings per 2 ft x 2ft

Another upshot aside from being programmable and dimmable is that they only utilize 1 power cord for each unit also where most others have one for each spectrum ( 1 blue )(1 white) saves some space in the power bar too.

Ya no complaints, have seen them on a 4 ft 90 gallon also and tank looks great. Was where I got the idea to use them from. My tank is 4x2x10" just a frag tank. They are dialed down on the 90 gallon too.
