I remember reading somewhere that Darryl V used this stuff whenever he stirred up his sandbed and/or blew off his rocks, something about helping to keep cyano down?

I use the tropic Marin for the same reason, it bunches all the fine particles in to be either used by corals or pulled out by skimmer.

I use it religiously, 3 times a week, great coral food, I had bought a few other items but I'll buy it again for sure, next time it'll be the biggest bottle. I believe it's 100 bucks but it's great stuff, Just don't put it in the refrigerator. It settles out but you can shake it up and mix it in.
