Are you thinking about selling them?  If you can match reefconcept.com for a co3 ill buy from you.
What I know: they are also sold by aquamaxx and I have not read a single bad review.

Yes I believe we are. I think the Initial order comes to our head office around the middle of January.  Im sure if we don't we can match the price.

If they are the same as the Aquamaxx ones I know that Jroovers uses one, and I think they look like an awesome skimmer.  They are getting positive reviews from those who have purchased.

edit: these?  http://www.goreef.com/AquaMaxx-ConeS-CO-1-In-Sump-Protein-Skimmer-175-Gallons.html

if so, I may be in the market around Feb-March timeframe.  I've never really been too pleased with the skimmer I have.

Yes it looks like that. I imagine head office will be doing an official roll out end of January or so.

I've been using the JNS ConeS Co-2 for a few months now, have been very happy with it.  No issues to date (knock on wood).  It adjusts very easily, skims well, and is quiet.  The price point is pretty darn attractive.

Thanks, I would agree the prices looked pretty good. Better than the sec skimmers and they don't have the Atman pump. It looks like the use the since pumps which have a pretty good reputation.

Brandon I don't quite remember the prices as I am at home. I'm not at the store tomorrow for long but will try and remember to check.

When doing my research, some people seemed to be knocking the sicce pumps, but apparently they are improved from a few years ago, when people would have impeller and other issues consistently (this is only based on what I've read, not on experience).  It is not as quiet as the bubble blaster pump that comes with the SRO skimmers, but pretty darn close.  It isn't nosier per se but vibrates a bit more.  I'm talking minor stuff here.  If I find some type of padding to put under it I'm sure I'll hear nothing.

The best price i've seen for the co-3 is $378.

thats not terrible for a quality skimmer

And the C03 is rated for 500 gals... the C02 which is rated for 300 comes in only around 325

Those ratings are way too high.. The c03 only draws 1000lph whwre most skimmers rated for that high draw 3x to 4x as much air... Still a killer skimmer for the price, but probably best for a 200g at the most.

I just noticed on bigalspets.com that the co3 is 449.  Prices at reefconcept look like they've gone up $70 in the last week or so.  Crap.  Is the price increase related to being sold by a big chain now?
