I know its been talked about to here a lot, from the people who own these, on my 5ft tank should I go with two wp40 or 2 wp25.  They come as  package apparently with the dual controller.  Then to complicate things there is a new FS14000 which is simply rebranded from fishstreet and has some slight mods to it.

AS it looks to me I can get the dual controller  and powersupply with:
2 wp25 = 130$
2 wp40 = 140$
2 FS14000 = 150$

Correct me if wrong here but ordering the package is like getting a free controller and getting pumps cheaper than individually.

Scroll to the bottom and it talks about packages.

might as well go with the twin 14000's for 10 bucks more. i have 2 40's in my tank and its just right, itll be great in your tank with the dual controller.

What is the difference between the WP40 and the FS14000 out of curiosity? I noticed the housing looks different but is that the only real difference?

Not sure.  Is there anyone in here that has had a bad experience with them?  And I mean actual experience and not just.  "It's not safety rated an will burn your house down..."

[/quote]Other than my house burning down because I set the box on fire before I put it in the garbage, I think they're great, I find they need to be cleaned more often than most other pumps.
I'm pretty sure that we've come to the conclusion that they are certified, at least the power supply which is what matters.
