Iwaki 55 Pressure Pump

I just scored 2 of the iwaki 55 pressure pumps last night. Anybody have any issues or recommendations on these such as predatory checks or things to look for while it's running?

Those things just go forever! I have been running one now for four years straight with zero problems. And I have one for a back up. Excellent units I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. They r ceramic shaft and ceramic bushing pumps so I have never seen a pump wear out on them. Does yours have the American or Japanese motor?

Mine are Japanese motors. They are 2 years old and don't have a mark on them. SCORE

My buddy just picked them up for me. Mint condition. Including the guy delivering them an hour away I paid 285 for the pair. Bout time I got a deal somewhere lol

That's a great deal for two great pumps, I read that the Japanese motors are much better than the other. Yes good score.

I not sure but I think there is oil fill spot not sure its been a while since I seen one. 285 not bad that's about what the Electrical bill next moth when you plug them in. They are great pumps.

i have them on my little giants,never seen one on any other like blueline or iwaki....but ive been wrong before.
been running internal last couple of years
