Is this aiptasia?

you are correct , that is aiptasia ... peppermint shrimp or kalkwasser paste will rid them . i will add peppermint shrimp are hit or miss .

there's two types of peppermint shrimp so you need to make sure you have the correct species. The only problem is the shrimp will leave little bits behind so the aiptasia will regenerate eventually. Bergina nudibranches are able to eat the whole thing but they are hard to source and if you dont have a lot of aiptasia in your tank it may die before ever finding it (Slow moving buggers!)

best bet - pull the rock and hit it with some heat from a propane torch. Lots of fun and nothing will be left!

matted filefish will eat aptaisia and when gone will eat nori and alot of different frozen meaty food says may nip at corals i have two of the buggers and they don't touch corals.

I was looking at those filefish, but was warned about them nipping at corals.
I boaught some pepp shrimp. They dont touch the aptasia at all.
