Hydor Slim Skim Review

today i installed a hydor slimskim in my adult seahorse tank and i must say i love it. instructions come very detailed in a booklet from assembly to startup settings and its performing just like it said. i also like the detailed pics showing how to set it for dry skim or wet skim. its only been running for an hour and is already producing nice dry foam and it fit perfectly in my hob sump section.

Pros:
easy assembly and dis-assembly for cleaning

detailed instructions for operating settings and water depth

fast startup to produce skim with almost zero breakin time

Air controle valve for even more fine tuning (recommended to leave fully open)

super quiet and low power consumption

Cons:
Would be an eye sore if inside display tank

I ran one on my pony take for a bit, great little skimmer but I wasn't sure if it was big enough to be as effective as I wanted..but, I do agree, instructions are awesome...
