Hey there guys
i picked up a reef keeper elite 2, today (used)
it came with head unit, 3 powerbars, sl1, sl2 and a net module.
also with a temp and ph probe.

ive read the manual, watch videos online, and i still cant seem to wrap my head around the stupid thing...
is there anyone that wants to come down, have a beer, talk fish and point me in the right direction?
i can give you a frag for your troubles :)

pm me.
thanks!

bring it up to london on the weekend and I'll show you the ropes.

Did you get the SID hooked up to your computer? once you hook it up to your computer it gets easier. Trying to program the damn thing via the controller is like playing pong on the first video game system

I have a RKL also.  I'm in the same spot.  My apex is so much easier.
I don't see a way to hook it up to my computer.  Maybe because it is the lite.

I should have two of them tomorrow, I could trade one  for a water barrel if we can meet somewhere between your place and mine.

The problem with any 'controller' is that flexibility adds complexity. A light switch only does one thing, but man is it easy to use. The key is finding the sweet spot of flexibility and complexity. For each person that is different.  So if the controller was dead simple it probably wouldn't do much.  Of course, some designs just suck.

Good to see you got it working.
