Help Needed: Trying Your Test Kit

I was wondering if someone in 401/404 area can help. I was told by Claude from Fauna Marin in Germany that photometer that I am using (Idip) is not accurate to measure fresh saltwater.

I am trying to rule out whether it is my Idip photometer that is not giving accurate result, or if it is the Fauna Marin salt that I got that defective.

If you are using Red Sea or Salifert test kits, I am wondering if I can bring water sample to test with your test kits so I can compare the result with my Idip test result instead of me buying full sets of Red Sea test kits.

do you have a LFS Store close by, sometimes if you take a water sample in they will test it for you...worth a shot if you suspect that there is something going on...

Big Als is close by but they use API test kit. I want to test it using Red Sea or Salifert.

I own Idip test kit. I am planning to purchase full set of Red Sea test kit once I am able to see that Idip does not accurately measure Cal, Mag, and Alk.
